Upon arrival you'll be given a brief ground school lesson from your expert instructor covering the basics of aviation - the principles of lift, communicating with the tower, etc. After this ground instruction you and your instructor will hop aboard a Cessna Skyhawk single-engine airplane for an exciting 40-minute flight! Your instructor will handle all the details such as communicating with Air Traffic Control, taxiing to the runway, take-off, and climbing to altitude. Once safely aloft, your instructor will allow YOU to control the airplane. You'll make gentle turns, maintain altitude, and hold speed & heading all on your own! Don't worry, your instructor is always ready to take over if the need arises or if you aren't comfortable with a certain maneuver.

Discovery Flights are by appointment only and subject to availability. Please call 843.481.4354 in order to setup a time and date for you flight or if you are looking for a weekend appointment.
You may cancel your Discovery Flight for a full refund any time up to one week prior to your scheduled flight. If you cancel within the one-week window of your flight, aircraft & instructor rescheduling fees will be applied and you will receive the balance.
